About 4.5 Billion
Our planet is approximately 4.5 billion years old, and in the relatively short time we humans have inhabited it (approx. 200,000 years) it has provided all we have needed for life.
Instead of appreciating these gifts and taking only what we need, we are systematically destroying our planet, with little thought or care for the consequences.
We mine resources out of the ground and cut down trees to mass produce disposable products that are destined to become landfill within a couple of years. All the while creating greenhouse gas emissions in factories, which are suffocating our planet.
